Portrait Session- Elyana Goldwater

This past weekend Ethan and I went to D.C. to create a video for Adoptions Together, the largest adoption agency on the East Coast (which his mother created and runs). I will post pictures from our work with them soon, but I want to share pictures from a portrait session I had with Ethan's little sister Elyana who is a senior in high school this year. We had a ton of fun shooting these and we were blessed with gorgeous light. Elyana has had to overcome quite a bit in her 18 years so far and she is a complete inspiration to me. I feel privileged that I was able to try and capture her radiant beauty.

Erin Considine Jewelry

Several months ago I photographed by beautiful friend Erin Considine's jewelry collection, I just realized I never posted them. Here they are a bit late :)

Night

A few nights ago I was itching. I realized that since school started again I have barely had a chance to pick up my camera. So Ethan and I walked around Manhattan for three hours and did what I love doing most--- seeing and feeling the city, talking to random people and searching for/discovering beauty. Posting this is the only break I have had all day and it is likely to be the last- I have over 250 pages left of reading to do by tomorrow. Just have to remind myself to breathe and keeping seeing the beauty that surrounds me...

Boys

Life has been pretty insane recently--- full time student, working 20++ hours per week and working hard to finish our web platform for BRAC. I haven't had enough time to photograph (taking all Anthropology classes this semester) but here are some shots of two boys that I started babysitting after I came back from Bangladesh. Andrew, the older of the two, just started Kindergarten and has a wonderful obsession with trains and his Puppy (which we had to spend 20 minutes looking for before bed one night). Willie is two and although quite territorial, is an absolute sweetie.

obsessed.
